Bio:
Bob's 25 plus year PGA career encompasses private, semi-private and high-end public facilities, and he is currently the General Manager and PGA Director of Golf at Medford Village Country Club since 2017. Prior to Medford Village, he was the GM and Head Golf Professional at Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley, PA for 8 seasons.
Since joining Medford Village, the club hosted the 2018 local USGA US Open Qualifier and the Philadelphia Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) Tournament of Champions in 2020. Medford Village will again be hosting the local USGA US Open Qualifier in May 2023.
Bob has been recognized by the Philadelphia Section of the PGA for Player Development (2008 and 2010) and most recently Merchandiser of the Year-Public Facility (2007, 2013 and 2016). He is presently a Master Staff Professional with Callaway Golf since 2013 and was awarded the 2016 Callaway Professional Honors award by the manufacturer.
Bob served as the Philadelphia PGA Chairperson on the section's "Growth of the Game" committee from 2008-2012. He is certified on the V1 Golf Coaching Software, True Temper Shaft Fitting, SeeMore Putting Institute Fitter, as well as a USKids Certified Golf Coach. Bob is also a certified club fitter with Callaway and PING.
Bob spent his early professional years on the TPS/Suncoast Tour (1981 and 1982) and continues to play in Philadelphia PGA Section and Senior Events. Bob and his wife, Lisa (a professional photographer specializing in high school senior photography, a human resources consultant, and golfer) reside in Westampton, NJ. They enjoy spending free time with their nieces and nephews as well as at the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia sporting events and traveling.
